The youth of St. John's had a great time participating in 

this year's fund raising weekend for 30 Hour Famine! 

We had 14 students that participated this year and we had a great time.  

More importantly we were able to reach around the world an touch lives of those in the most need.  

Total of more than $4,000 was raised.  That's 11 children fed for a year, Praise Jesus!

Plus, we spent some of our "famine" time doing local service projects; we packed 19,000 meals for the hungry.

(Did you know that 20% of families in the church's zip code area live below the poverty line?)
